About the department
The Department of Political Science aims primarily to address the need for qualified professionals who can adapt to the demands of globalization in today’s world and possess an internationally recognized education in political science. To meet this need, our department also offers English courses at the university, where the language of instruction is French.
Graduates of the Political Science program will have the opportunity to work not only in the public and private sectors but also in international institutions and organizations seeking to employ highly qualified personnel. Furthermore, successful students are provided with the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at prestigious educational institutions in European countries with which we have agreements, within the framework of the Socrates exchange programs.
Thanks to the Department of Political Science’s interdisciplinary approach and the multifaceted knowledge it imparts, our graduates can work in public and private institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Finance, various units of local governments, the Undersecretariat of the Treasury, the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, financial institutions, banks, and the media. Additionally, they can pursue careers at international organizations affiliated with the United Nations, particularly those of the European Union and the Council of Europe, as well as in international NGOs, or pursue academic careers
